A note on our AI sub-processor
Anthropic PBC provides the AI models behind Selems' automations. Its role is inference only: our systems send data to Anthropic's commercial API at the moment a task runs and receive a generated answer back.
- Your data is never used to train AI models. Anthropic is contractually prohibited from training models on data submitted through its commercial API (Anthropic Commercial Terms of Service, Section B), and Selems does not train, fine-tune, adapt, or enhance any AI model with client data either.
- This includes accounting data. Where a client connects their Xero organisation, data read from Xero (bills, invoices, contacts, organisation settings) may be included in AI processing, under the same no-training commitment, used only for that client's own service, and never aggregated across clients. Clients agree to this in writing, in their portal, before they can connect.
